Frequently asked questions
Each month we request bank statements and any documents we need via the client portal. We categorise all transactions, reconcile accounts, and produce a clean set of records. You get a month-end summary and can view your books in the portal at any time.
We work with cloud-based software - primarily FreeAgent, QuickBooks, and Xero. We'll recommend the right one for your business. The software subscription is separate (typically £12–30/month) but we handle all the setup and training.
Mainly your bank statements and any supplier invoices or receipts you've received. If you use cloud banking, we can connect directly. We'll set up a simple monthly routine and tell you exactly what we need - it usually takes under 10 minutes of your time.
Monthly bookkeeping is included in the Ltd Growth plan (£150/month). For Ltd Essentials and Self-Employed, we use the records you provide to prepare your annual accounts and tax returns. If you'd like monthly bookkeeping added to a lower plan, we can quote for it.
